Requiring a talent for understanding and translating business needs into defined data standards, you'll be instrumental in shaping the way that we measure success. Working in an environment where you'll need to balance stakeholder feedback, internal data governance and core systems across hundreds of data standards, there is an inescapable demand for a methodical analytical approach.

Possessing an eye for critical data elements, you will need to closely align yourself with business leadership and stakeholders in order to fully represent their interests in progressing agreements and ensuring that they are fit for purpose. Profiling current and proposed data objects, you'll be a subject expert and will provide training and guidance for colleagues. With an already extensive reach in the business, you'll stretch even further, advocating, guiding and supporting in the adoption of quality data strategy and policy as far as possible.

Qualifications

With a degree in a scientific or analytical field or similar equivalent, you'll have professional experience of shaping data standards and definitions in a large organisation, ideally having gained familiarity with pharma development data standards such as CDISC, BRIDG and HL7. With an ingrained understanding of the importance of quality data and due process, you'll be able to effectively communicate your case, articulate in explaining end to end business impact in a wider sense.
