  Job facts

Designs, develops, evaluates and modifies computer programs to analyse and evaluate clinical data. Recognizes inconsistencies and initiates resolution of data problems. Typically creates programs using statistical analysis system language to support the clinical area. Implements data management plans designed to meet project and protocol deadlines; provides expertise in the design and development of clinical trials, protocols and case report forms. Acts as a liaison between clinical management, subcommittees and project teams as needed.
Effectively communicates with SDM, study team, Functional Service Providers,
and stakeholders on Transformation requirements and status of work
Manages Clinical Programming deliverables, including timelines, risks and
coordination of cross-functional tasks with strong understanding of
downstream processes and stakeholder needs and impacts
Identifies Clinical Programming related issues appropriately and addresses
corrective action plans
Evaluates the impact of risks, develops and implements mitigation plans at
study level
Fosters teamwork: develops and maintains working relationships and
networks within and outside of CDM at the study level
Oversees vendor performance at study level. Sets expectations, measures
performance and with direction establishes and implements corrective action
as necessary
Understands medical terminology, and how it applies to data collection and
data tabulation, and the impact of downstream processes at study level

Requirements:

BA/BS degree or equivalent and moderate industry-related experience
Fluent English communication skills
Proficient in SAS Programming
Knowledge of UNIX is preferred
Knowledge of CDISC Standards (SDTM/ADAM), at least 2-year hands-on
experience
Strong attention to detail to anticipate, address and/or escalate issues
Good project and task management capabilities and ability to manage multiple
projects and tasks simultaneously
