The Safety Informatics team that supports the global Safety Risk Management business in PD, is looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst with Business Intelligence and Data Analytics/Science domain experience.

This role builds the bridge between end user needs, solution delivery and internal Informatics service providers.

We are looking for an individual with strong customer focus, experience in working in global, multi-cultural environments, with a structured working approach, excellent analytical,communication and presentation skills.

You will be part of a global team participating in the implementation of new projects and changes to existing solutions.

Further responsibilities are:

• Ability to bridge the gap between business and informatics, understanding key business processes, and how to transform business needs into Informatics solutions

• Engaging with the business in requirement discussions (ad-hoc or pro-actively) to consistently ensure our solutions address or exceed business needs

• Analysis and visualization of information and Real World/Big Data to identify new insights

• Evaluation of new information sources with techniques for analyzing and processing data

• Work closely with customers and stakeholders to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make evidence based decisions

• Plan and deliver end-user working sessions intended to surface requirements and validate report designs

• Promote customer satisfaction through close stakeholder management (within or outside projects) to ensure our customer group is heard

• Ability to engage in translation of business processes and demands into requirements and overseeing functional specifications

• Consult end user groups to transform and innovate business processes in order to advocate harmonization and change

• Ensuring adherence to applicable policies and standard governing project delivery, CSV, validation and regulatory standards

• Work closely with Business Intelligence Developers to ensure successful transformation of business requirements into technical design / solution

• Consult informatics team with input into operational delivery, planning and cross project alignment

• Identify and drive new solution proposals to successful implementation

For this position, you bring the following qualifications:

• Proven experience and in-depth knowledge as a Business Analyst, in the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics/Science domains

• Good understanding of Statistical Modelling

• Experience of Data Preparation/Wrangling

• Experience in Pharmaceutical space, with solutions delivery in a GxP environment is required

• Experience in Pharmacovigilance domain is a huge advantage

• Working knowledge of Analytics & Visualization tools, techniques and concepts is highly desirable - e.g. Tableau, Spotfire, Business Objects etc

• Keen attention to detail with analytical and data driven problem solving abilities

• Well versed in managing customer expectations and relationships

• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience in computer sciences, software engineering or similar

• Certified Business Analysis Professional or equivalent certification and work experience

• Excellent English skills (written and spoken)

• Flexibility to travel for up to 10% of time including outside of home country

• Flexibility to work outside of normal working hours
