Summary of accountabilities

The representative is responsible for promoting the Accu-Chek products according to business priorities. He (she) must attain specific objectives such as sales, sales call frequency, program execution and merchandising in a given territory by influencing recommendation from the various stakeholders, being pharmacists, laboratory technicians and nurses working in retail pharmacy accounts. The representative must focus on and support the opportunities while respecting all integrity and compliance standards of the Roche Group. Several competencies are required for this position, but customer focus, adequate planning, drive for results and excellence in time management are imperatives to master.

Major accountabilities

·  Support the sales and marketing strategies to influence the recommendation rate of health professionals in pharmacies, by means of :
- delivering uniform and consistent messaging
- influencing recommendation habits
- protecting the Accu-Chek brand
- providing adequate product training to customers
- ensuring marketing and distribution of the Accu-Chek portfolio of products
- being competitive while respecting Roche values
- developing and maintaining professional relationships
Managing their territory and Respect the proper follow-up of their territory which includes without being limited to:
- Respecting the sales call recommended frequency for each account
- Entering and updating sales call information and other into the CRM system (SFDC)
·  Managing POP, samples and other material to ensure visibility of the Accu-Chek brand.
·  Coordinate / communicate regularly with the Regional Business Manager to ensure appropriate Impact is being realized vs. overall business plan.

Employment Pre-requisites

·  Bachelor's Degree;
·  Entry level sales or equivalent experience
·  Good oral and written communication skills, including making impactful presentations
·  Business acumen and problem solving skills
·  Ability to work in a regulated environment
·  Tactical planning and organizational skills
·  Computer knowledge: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other related software
