You will be responsible for Applications Support and will assist the Export Sales team for product promotion and market development. As an Applications Specialist, you will have the opportunity to travel throughout the Sub-Sahara francophone region and demonstrate your expertise as an applications specialist for Roche Molecular Systems to provide valued service to your laboratory customers in your assigned territory. Actively promoting Roche Molecular products and services offered by the company to the customers (end users); Serve as the Roche liaison and expert on all consultative, administrative and applications matters for Roche solutions; Provide leads to sales team and Identifies opportunities for competitive system consolidation or replacements; Solving, as well applications / product problems promptly and completely and assisting the region to achieve overall its monthly and yearly Roche Molecular Systems sales target and objectives; Delivering product and Applications training to the customers (distributors, end-customers and for internal Sales and following up with training feedback; Coordinating instrument installation with Technical/Service Engineers and conducting application training for end users after installation of instruments; Visiting client regularly and promoting reagents for optimal capacity usage of our systems or Channel filling. Solving applications / product problems promptly and completely from end users; Periodical visits to Key Accounts for getting user feedbacks on our products and services; submitting call report to line managers. Assisting customers in the interpretation of test results, explaining test result to customers to reach agreement. Maintaining and updating products information in a timely manner Qualifications - External: You should hold: Master degree or higher in molecular biology or other life science disciplines or equivalent; With Product & Application Expertise, You have a minimum 3 years of practical application experience in IVD or medical device industry You have hands-on knowledge both practical and theoretical on Molecular Biology You have experience with current good laboratory practice and accreditation requirements Proficiency in both spoken and written French. English would be a plus, and good command of MS office software application; You should have good track record for two or more years, with related work experience in sales & application support. The ability to effectively work within a diverse environment, develop new customers while maintaining all existing accounts, deliver effective application service.
