OBJECTIVE:
The Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of accounts payable, general accounting and financial reporting, month end processing, payroll, cash management, and system support.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Purchase to Pay
·
Check, review and control of payment requests, ensure compliance with Roche finance, Compliance & other procedures
·
Coordination with local procurement and follow up on open purchase orders
·
Close follow up with the agents in the Gulf Countries on the payment status
General Accounting
·
Identification of accruals; timely & accurate booking of expense related accruals
·
Maintenance of asset log, reflection in SAP.
·
Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
·
Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
·
Manage monthly close process, including preparing, posting, and reviewing journal entries
Distributor Debit Notes
·
Control, follow up to timely process debit notes from distributors
·
prepare monthly accruals / booking of distributors debit notes
Safety & Training completion responsibility
·
Attend / complete all requisite on-line and F2F trainings (Role specific, Safety responsibility and Compliance) within specified time limit.
·
Identifies, collects and immediately reports all safety related information on Roche products to Local Safety Responsible as per Roche requirements and local regulations.
