Account Executive Centralized Solutions

As our Account Executive, you will be responsible for the Centralized Solutions (Core Lab) business unit. You will play a critical role inestablishing and maintaining strong business relationships with many different buying influencers at varying levels. You will need to balance account management and developing new business opportunities.You will be expected to achieve annual reagent, consumables, service and instrument sales objectives in the assigned geographic territory, in addition to identifying opportunities and taking care of all account management activities. Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize your workload are critical must haves in order to be successful.

Responsibilities

·  Achieve annual reagents and instruments sales objectives in all markets across assigned geographic territory.
·  Using the Miller Heiman selling methodology, identify sales opportunities, gather key decision making criteria, qualify and gain customer understanding (personal & professional goals) in order to be best placed to offer a solution.
·  Responsible for all account management activity in assigned territory and ensure adequate coverage of this territory as per company guidelines. This includes:
·  Ensuring proper representation of product portfolio within targeted accounts
·  Preparing accurate territory business plans to achieve assigned sales quotas and instruments targets while staying within expense budgets
·  Ensuring proper contract management by monitoring and/or timely renewals/extensions of Sales and Service contracts
·  Monitoring competitive activity in each account and participates in the development and implementation of appropriate response strategies
·  Assisting in the planning, establishment and maintenance of account relationships within assigned key accounts by conducting regular business reviews
·  Key stakeholder for managing change and ongoing communications to and from the customers

What you need to be successful

·  Bachelor's degree or experience as a Lab Technologist (Science degree a strong asset)
·  3 to 4 years of healthcare sales experience a must
·  Basic understanding of medical technologies
·  Demonstrated financial and business acumen (for Capital Sales)
·  Strong presentation skills
·  Computer skills (Excel / PowerPoint / Word). Ability to assimilate and master scientific and clinical information
·  Travel as required to manage assigned territory and to attend regional/national meetings.
