Join our global CDx Pharma Services comprising an experienced and dedicated cross-functional team of scientists, clinical science managers, laboratory professionals, data managers and pathologists supporting biomarker assay development and validation, clinical study management and clinical sample testing in a CAP/CLIA laboratory.

Your Team

We are opening a new laboratory in Penzberg that will support clinical sample testing in a CAP/CLIA environment. You will become one of the Lab Technicians of this newly established team and will work with your colleagues to perform clinical sample testing services for our Pharma partners and patients.

Your objectives/tasks

·  Performing routine histotechniques on clinical samples such as grossing, embedding tissue, cell block preparation, microtomy, H&E staining, IHC / ISH and special biomarker stains, coverslipping and image acquisition
·  Immunoassay testing of liquid biopsies on automated laboratory systems
·  Support in troubleshooting, corrective and preventive maintenance as well as quality control
·  Accessioning and processing of clinical samples monitored by laboratory management system
·  Notification of stakeholders of relevant sample information
·  Sample preparation for shipment to customers and archiving in the laboratory
·  Daily record keeping according to quality management system of an accredited clinical laboratory
·  Laboratory maintenance and ordering of equipment and consumables
·  Cooperating with your laboratory team of English-speaking colleagues

You bring as an ideal candidate

·  Master / Bachelor / Technician degree in Biology, Histology, Chemistry or other scientific discipline
·  At least 2 years laboratory or medical experience, including but not limited to conducting development or validation experiments, sample processing in a clinical laboratory and laboratory support in a hospital or reference laboratory
·  Accurate laboratory documentation according to quality standards of an accredited clinical laboratory
·  Compliance with laboratory safety procedures
·  Proven knowledge of computer skills (MS Office, LIMS)
·  Excellent oral and written communication skills
·  Great understanding of good clinical laboratory practices and regulatory compliance
·  Knowledge of medical terminology is of benefit
·  Fluent in English and German language skills of advantage
