MAIN PURPOSE
Richemont is expanding their presence in Lisbon by opening a Technology Competence Center to serve all the Maisons worldwide. We are is looking for a talented Salesforce Engineer to help supporting the delivery of Client engagement solutions and applications to its Maisons.
The Salesforce Developer Lead will be part of the Richemont LNR (Luxury New Retail) Technology Client Engagement Area Team. You will be joining a dynamic team where you will play a pivotal role in a major, multi-Maisons, worldwide Salesforce initiative for some of the most prestigious Maisons. You will work in a global environment with highly distributed teams in different countries and time zones.
You will lead the development team to deliver successful features and automations on Salesforce Service Cloud and Data Cloud that make the operational activities of C360 product more efficient. You will lead technical solution design, implementation, and maintenance to ensure a smooth integration and development lifecycle.
You will work closely with the Business Analysts to engineer the solutions to business problematics and ensure that the delivery of the roadmap is done with a high-quality standard.
You are an expert on Service Cloud & Data Cloud solutions and have always in mind to deliver scalable and flexible solutions that allow us to onboard different Maisons within the same template.
As a Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized solutions within Salesforce Service Cloud & Data Cloud platforms. Your expertise in Salesforce configuration, Apex programming, and Lightning components will be essential in delivering high-quality solutions that meet our business requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Salesforce Service Cloud & Data Cloud
- Propose and develop custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other programming languages and frameworks.
- Participate in complete application life cycle from technical design, architecture, development, testing, and deployment of high-quality salesforce solutions using coding best practices.
- Customize and configure Salesforce applications, including but not limited to, workflows, process builder, validation rules, and security controls
- Develop Apex classes, triggers, and controllers to extend the functionality of Salesforce and integrate with other systems
- Design and build Lightning components and applications using Salesforce Lightning Framework
- Create and maintain custom objects, fields, and page layouts to enhance user experience and productivity
- Your client-centric mindset allows you to identify and recommend creative solutions to build extensions to the out-of-the-box capabilities of the platform.
- You guide the development team to a successful setup and ensure they follow the best practices.
- Communicate and collaborate with other technical resources like architects, admins, configuration experts, and stakeholders regarding status, risks, and any technical issues.
- You understand dependencies and anticipate regressions on the platform.
- You actively participate to the Agile ceremonies and give constant updates of the evolution of the development of features in the sprint
- You ensure functional and technical health of features developed by your peers by cross-testing among the development team and being involved in all test phases.
- You help support team troubleshoot and deliver quality solutions to bugs raised in production.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features and enhancements and evaluate their applicability to our organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system improvements and best practices
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Salesforce development with :
- a solid experience in back/front-end development on Salesforce platforms,
- an experience with REST integrations,
- a good understanding of security models,
- basic knowledge of Salesforce administration,
- proficiency in programming languages and frameworks relevant to Salesforce development and technologies, such as Visual Studio Code, Salesforce DX, Salesforce APIs, Apex, Lightning components , Java, JavaScript, web services
- ideally a first exposition to Salesforce Data Cloud
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Developer team lead
- Salesforce certifications (Salesforce Developer 1 and 2, Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Administrator, super badges)
- Strong technical knowledge of Salesforce products (ability to investigate and debug)
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodology, experience with Atlassian suite of products (Confluence, Jira, Zephyr).
- Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work in a complex, fast-paced, distributed environment with high expectations
- Fluent English required
