Public Relations & Marketing Manager (1-Year Contract)

We are looking for a dynamic Public Relations & Marketing Manager to join our SEA marketing team, to fully support our Marketing Director, in the realm of public relations in the region. To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a flair for writing and a good eye for detail and possess a ‘can-do’ attitude. He/she must be willing to work with passion and grow with the brand.
Key responsibilities
Public Relations
· Press work: Plan, implement and manage public relations strategies, including crafting press releases for local activations and launches, timely dissemination of global press releases in the SEA region and responding to press enquiries (e.g. requests for images, information or prices).
· Press Relations Management: Maintain and/or further establish positive relationships with press, ensuring positive projection of brand image, consistently and independently. This includes regular and independent liaison with press, including addressing press inquiries and requests.
· Press Database & Asset Management: Update and maintain the master press database as well as retrieve and classify all press files in their respective folders.
· PR Monitoring & Clipping: Keep track of daily editorial coverage and file systematically. Organise and dispatch best coverage reports to HQ in a timely manner.
· PR Logistics: Work with multiple departments within the brand to execute all logistics and security processes to facilitate photoshoot organization on and off site. Including but not limited to: Loan facilitation forms, security, transportation delivery, on-site product condition check and return.
· PR Activities: Organize and manage various PR activities such as seasonal press gifting, press conferences and press lunches.
· Inventory Management: Responsible for ensuring neatness for easy access, such as magazine archive and press release archive.
Marketing
· Copywriting: Providing copywriting support for the brand, across various brand initiatives, such as crafting of event invitations, product descriptions, gifting messages and eDM content. Also includes crafting of key talking points for brand management.
· Social influencer and celebrity management: Identify and secure suitable social media influencers for the brand, where suitable. Establish and maintain strong relationships with local celebrities, stylists and artiste managers. Be able to secure key dressing opportunities, in order to expand brand’s visibility.
· Ad-hoc: To perform other essential administrative duties and project support, including invoice processing via SAP and tracking.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in mass communications/marketing; preferably with three years of related experience in PR, Marketing or Journalism.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Demonstrated problem solving skills wand ability to multi task and thrive under pressure
· Effective time management skills and ability to prioritise in a fast paced environment
· Macro and detail oriented
· Tenacious team player with a positive can-do attitude and self-motivated.
· Ability to create and maintain good relationships with both internal and external
Stakeholders
· Experience with SAP system is a plus
