The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the cutting operations within the leather goods production process. The role ensures efficient planning of cutting activities, optimal use of leather and materials, and effective coordination of the team to support production targets, and delivery timelines.


HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

Cutting Operations Management

  • Oversee daily cutting operations, ensuring alignment with the overall production plan.

  • Coordinate cutting activities to guarantee timely supply of cut components to the production lines.

  • Monitor leather usage and material yield to ensure optimal utilization of raw materials.

Planning & Workflow Coordination

  • Plan and prioritize cutting activities according to production needs and delivery schedules.

  • Coordinate closely with production planning of each Maison to ensure a smooth workflow.

  • Manage workload distribution and adapt priorities based on production requirements.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and supervise the cutting department team.

  • Organize daily activities and ensure efficient task allocation.

  • Support continuous improvement team to ensure that the improvements actions are effectively implemented and sustained over time, maintaining defined operational standard

Reporting & KPI

  • Define, monitor, and analyze department KPIs, ensuring effective reporting and visibility of performance.

  • Establish structured reporting and performance monitoring to support data-driven decision making within the department.


HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or related field).

  • At least 3/5 years’ experience in a manufacturing/production environment.

  • Solid knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.

  • Strong understanding of cutting processes and leather materials.

  • Proven experience in team management and production coordination.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
