Baume-et-Mercier’s Network Operations Intern will provide insightful and educational training to build upon the skills needed for a career in Operations. The takeaway upon completion will be a deeper understanding of operations environments, and enhanced knowledge of the luxury industry as it relates to watchmaking by completing tasks such as stock control, client interaction to secure sales reports, interaction with internal selling tools (Booster) and work closely with Baume-et-Mercier’s other global sales/operations teams, and inter-company platforms.

We are searching for someone who is enrolled in an accredited college or University who has a strong interest in developing themselves further within the Watchmaking industry. You will learn from experts in the luxury watch industry and gain valuable experience to help you continue your career forward.


Areas of Expertise to be developed

Operations & Logistics:

·  Contact the clients to update their stock and update it in Booster (Internal tool).
·  Secure monthly sell out reports from clients and update them in Booster (Internal tool).
·  Maintain accurate customer database by creating and updating customer profiles.
·  Ensuring sales & stock data of watches is up to date in our internal management system by conducting regular audits for the clients that upload sales & stock data themselves.


·  Provides administrative, clerical, and customer support services in wholesale environment.
·  Supply product and pricing information to address client request.
·  Support with order/inventory inquiries to/from customers
·  Compile data, images and develop formats/layout for the preparation of sales presentations.
·  Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of product features and sales promotion for BEM’s clients.
·  Identify and deal proactively with any delays or problems that may arise.

Goals and Objectives:

·  Understanding of the operations and the logistics of luxury watch Maison.
·  Knowledge of the US operations environments.
·  Familiarity with the luxury market in the US.


Knowledge, Skills and Techniques necessary:

·  Written, interpersonal and communication skills.
·  Customer service skills.
·  Attention to details and organization skills
·  Time Management and teamwork
·  Must have MS office proficiency (ppt, excel, pivot tables, vlookup).
·  SAP experience welcomed, but not necessary
·  Team player, flexible mindset, highly adaptable to change as dictated by the business.
·  Ensure compliance with established RNA policies and guidelines.

·  March 2021-July 2021
