To support our Functional Controlling team at our headquarters in Schaffhausen we are looking

for a

 

MARKETING CONTROLLER
(M/W/X – 100%)

The Marketing Controller is also the primary financial contact for the leadership team in the marketing department and reports to the Team Lead Functional Controlling, thus playing a key role in our finance team. Here you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your people skills, analytical approach, and technical knowledge.

This results in both measuring actual financial performance and supporting the Global Marketing management teams in achieving their short- and medium-term financial goals. YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE BY

 

·  Managing the planning process of the global marketing budget.
·  Participating in strategic planning procedures and offering value-added input based on a thorough understanding of the business.
·  Being responsible for the Actuals Reporting, financial KPI’s and ensuring that all group rules and policies (IFRS) are kept.
·  Further improving the validation of all Marketing projects (ROMI).
·  Preparing of predictions, ad-hoc and in-depth analyses.
·  Increasing financial awareness & responsibility of key counterparts (e.g. contract management, lead the recommendation process)
·  Implementing and maintaining effective processes and workflows which are consistent with internal rules and comply with legal regulations.
·  Working in constant adaptation and improvement with all marketing departments (HQ & platforms).

 

YOUR PROFILE:

 

Your Experience

·  You hold a Bachelor or Master’s Degree related to the finance / accounting field or similar.
·  You have a minimum of 3 years working experience in controlling (ideally in Marketing controlling).
·  You are excellent in English, German is a plus.
·  You are familiar with SAP applications.
·  You are a master in MS Office applications, and you have experience with BI tools such as SAP business objects analysis.
·  You demonstrated experience with business partnering, financial modelling / reporting
·  You are result-driven, focused on deliverables, autonomous & service-oriented.
·  You are curious and have a self-driven mindset.

 

Your Skills

·  Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with people having different cultural and professional backgrounds is a must.
·  Strong team working and project management skills.
·  Flexibility to adapt quickly not only to changing circumstances but also to a fast-paced environment.
·  Excellent analytical and pragmatical skills, a passion for metrics and figures, and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture.
