Full Stack .Net Developer - Maidstone, HQ/Remote

Full Time 9:00 - 17:30pm 

 

You shall report directly to a Senior/Lead Software Engineer and work closely with other Developers, Product Owners and our database specialist as well as being the go-to person for our SME's across our business. 

As a Full Stack.Net Developer, you will undertake a hands-on development role, working on a Microsoft tech stack including programming languages C#, VB.Net and Microsoft SQL. 

 

You shall be exposed and involved in a variety of exciting new projects. This could range across continued globalisation of our platforms, ground-up rebuild of AWS cloud infrastructure, Updating/replacing API servers with AWS API Gateway and 3rd party integration work. 

 

It is not our aim to pigeonhole or limit the talents within the organisation instead, we let our tech team expand and hone their talents. We use a strong tech-stack here at Watchfinder, and we're not afraid to try new technologies or techniques. 

 

How will you make an impact? 

 

·    Design overall architecture of the web applications 
·  Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications
·  Provide technical input to technical solutions and fulfil the development of projects and tasks to our internal SME's 
·  Introduce new improvements in development techniques and ways for our consumers to buy and sell watches.

 

What we look for in our Developers...

 

Ideally, you would have worked on AWS platform and services, Angular/JS, Typescript, S/CSS, HTML5, Unit Testing, TDD, Webpack, MVC, C# and REST/HTTP API's 

·  You shall be an expert of MySQL, CI/CD pipelines, Jira or Azure DevOps
·  Extensive knowledge of development methodologies and passionate about technology and keep up to date with the latest trends within the tech sector. 
·  You love to work within a collaborate team, we take a 'One Team' approach to all activities 
·  You love to communicate , engage and connect with new people in the organisation. Ensuring that you maintain long, lasting relationships 
·  You love to work on projects! You get excited about new upgrades and improvements to systems 

 

Due to the current restrictions around Covid-19, it's likely that all interviewing shall be done via video call. For the successful applicants, we are adapting to a WFH approach initially, with the possibility of returning to the office for one or two days per week. 

 

The Interview process for this role is:  

 

1st - Short Video Call with our Friendly Talent team to discuss experience and general motivation for the position. 

2nd - Video interview with Several stakeholders within the Technology team, to give valuable insight to what life is like in the tech team and to cover some tech interview questions, 

3rd - Technology Test & Final Stage interview with our Chief Technology Officer.
