The Endpoint Technology Standards Engineer plays a pivotal role within the Endpoint Solutions team, building and maintaining technical standards, asset management processes linked to the Endpoints landscape and administering global technical service platforms, driving global adoption and standardization across the Group, while ensuring observability and compliance of all endpoints.

You will contribute to the Continuous Improvement of the Endpoint Solutions services and the design of new service offering, along with the integration and adoption of new technologies for the Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Standards Management
    • Define, track, and maintain technology standards related to endpoint solutions (including End User Devices, Software, Printing, OT devices, IoT, AR/VR, wearables).
    • Lead innovation initiatives focused on integrating new device types into enhanced IT/OT services.
    • Drive standardization of use cases for computing across all environments within the organization.
    • Maintain Hardware Catalogs accurate, relevant and easy to access for all stakeholders
  • Platform Management and Operations
    • Operate and Administer Management platforms in the scope of the team (Endpoint Management, Printing Management, OT Management)
    • Write and validate SOP for administrative tasks related to standardized technologies to support delegation and shift left of operational responsibilities
    • Process Problems, Root Cause Analysis, Postmortem Analysis, lead vendor escalations for services in scope
  • End User Devices Asset Management
    • Support process integration for the management of standardized End User Devices assets across the whole chain of support and throughout the entire lifecycle, from onboarding to secure disposal
    • Monitor Asset Management KPIs and identify corrective actions aimed at improving global compliance, including regular audits
  • Process Excellence & Innovation
    • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement.
    • Lead strategic platform standardization and integration initiatives.
    • Research, evaluate, and propose adoption of emerging technologies with strong benefit analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant technical field; certifications on AWS, Microsoft or topics relevant to Endpoint Management are welcome. 
  • Several years in operating and designing technical services in large organizations, across multiple geographies and deep knowledge of endpoint management platforms, end user devices (computer, mobile phones, tablets, printers and accessories), OT, IoT, AR/VR, wearable technologies.
  • Experience with Intune, Tanium, Workspace ONE, Citrix, PrinterLogic, M365, Entra ID, Service Now or equivalent Endpoint Management stacks.
  • Good understanding of system architectures and integration (APIs, microservices, authentication frameworks, network segmentation), security principles and best practices, compliance and governance.
  • Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting in complex cloud-based environments.
  • Outstanding skills communicating with executives, business, IT, cybersecurity, and operations specialists. Ability to build trust and align diverse groups.
  • Ability to drive innovation, automation, continuous process improvement, and adoption of emerging technologies.
  • Ability to oversee project implementation, track milestones, understand budgets and cost implications, and address risks or obstacles
  • Skilled at presenting complex technical ideas in accessible language and converting user or business needs into technical requirements. Facilitate cross-functional workshops, and ensure clarity of expectations
  • Demonstrated experience designing and optimizing IT services in alignment with business needs and architectural standards (ITIL Certification at intermediate or expert level is desirable)
  • Demonstrated aptitude for resolving conflicts, adapting to changing business and technology landscapes, and making sound data-driven decisions
