This role is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Data Analyst to join support our newly created Insights & Analytics team to process, visualise and analyse large volumes of data across our business.

This is a great role for you if you’re looking to embark on a career within Data Analytics. You’ll get the opportunity to work with and develop relationships across the wider Watchfinder business and learn every step of the way. 

With ongoing training and peer to peer support, you’ll become adept at developing meaningful analysis from high volume, complex datasets. These insights you draw will help us plan strategies across the business – so your work will have an impact.

You’ll be able to analyse reports and form notions through spotting trends, reviewing comparisons, and building a story from the data.

 

How will you make an impact?

·  Provide insightful and commercially steered reports to multiple and different teams across the business.
·  Create accessible, relevant, and actionable reports and dashboards, using multiple sources of data.
·  Identify, query, analyse and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
·  Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
·  Work closely with our Data Engineering and Data Science functions on the delivery of proof of concepts
·  Work on cross functional projects to gain exposure to different data sets
·  Opportunity to work on new data models, data governance and data dictionary projects.

 

How will you experience success with us?

·  Strong attention to detail. – you’ll enjoy working with complex data, understanding complex data structures, and you care about accuracy.
·  Good knowledge of SQL (must) and python (desired), through your academic or work experiences.
·  Knowledge of how to present data in an engaging way, using different visualisations to support delivery of a business outcome using visualisation tools like  PowerBI, Looker, Tableau or something similar
·  You are passionate about building long-term relationships and have the natural ability to liaise and influence stakeholders.
·  Passion and interest in data engineering, big data, and cloud technologies.
·  Be a self-starter with strong initiative and commitment to delivery and learning and development.

Your Journey at Watchfinder

 

1st Stage  – After your application has been selected, our recruitment team will reach out to you within two weeks to conduct an introductory call.

2nd Stage -  Video call with the Insights & Analytics Manager and another member of our Data team. If successful, you will be put forward to complete a Data Case Study to present in the final interview.

3rd Stage  - Final Interview with the Insights & Analytics Manager to present the Case Study task set after the 2nd stage interview.
