Main responsability

The main responsibility of the Artisans administrator is to manage, research and validate the data received through the evaluation system of the Michelangelo Foundation and redistribute this data to the relevant team members.

 

This implies:

Evaluation system:

·  Following the data received through the evaluation system
·  Researching the artisans received through the evaluation system
·  Readjusting and validating this data by analyzing the evaluation
·  Insuring and assuring the quality of the data
·  Redistributing the data to relevant team member

 

Exhibition catalogues:

·  Assisting in the coordination of the collection and management of exhibition content
·  Contacting artisans, designers etc. in order to find and complete information
·  Assisting in the compilation of lists and statistics related to exhibition content
·  Writing of the exhibition catalogue
·  Uploading information to exhibition database

 

Required Skills

·  1 year minimum of experience in research
·  Knowledge in art and design and interest in the métiers d’art
·  Ability to conduct research, target relevant information and evaluate data
·  Familiar with assessment systems
·  Experience working on CMS and database (Axiell or other collection/museum database)
·  Computer proficiency including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
·  Fluent in English and/or in French, Italian is an asset
·  Team Player

 

Education

·  Humanities Degree, if possible in History of Art and/or design
·  Graduate (Bac +3)
