Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Perfume Account Manager (m/f/d) to manage a large wholesale perfume retailer and oversee the sales area spanning across North-East Germany and CEE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, developing and maintaining relationships with account buying- and POS teams, and managing a Counter Manager at our flagship. This role requires a strong understanding of the perfume industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
YOUR TASKS
Account Management:
· Develop and implement B2B strategies with your wholesale accounts in alignment with HQ directives
· Establish and maintain strong, effective relationships with buying teams
· Analyze sales performance and implement action plans to ensure turnover target achievement
· Conduct quarterly account meetings and commercial negotiations
· Maintain updated, tailored assortments, regularly evaluate stock levels and maximize opportunities
Area Management:
· Maintain a regular POS visit schedule across your area
· Establish & maintain close relationships with POS teams
· Improve brand presence in all POS within your area and establish clear action plans
· Coordinate & conduct POS staff trainings
· Partner with marketing team to create and implement impactful marketing initiatives
Team & Organization:
· Manage Flagship Counter Manager and provide training, coaching and support to ensure exceptional customer service & sales performance
· Recruit and train top talent promoters
· Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment
PROFILE
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or a related field
· Proven experience in sales and account management within the perfume, beauty or luxury goods industry
· Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
· Strong understanding of the Eastern European market
· Holds driver’s license and able to travel extensively
· Fluent in German and English – Polish or Czech is a plus
