We are currently looking for an R&I Engineer under the VIE frame based in Singapore (during 18 month). You will join the Asia Pacific Research and Innovation headquarter of Solvay Agricultural Specialties to work on regional as well as global projects.
Poste et missions:
Job Overview and Responsibilities/
- Developing various types of agro-chemical formulations to meet customer needs
- Developing new surfactant molecules to solve specific challenges when formulating agrochemicals.
- Designing and developing protocols to assess formulation quality based on good understanding of physical chemistry theories
- Writing technical reports to summarize the results and present to the team
- Visiting customers to provide technical support if needed
Profil:
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in physical chemistry is required, PHD or major in surface chemistry will be preferred
- Good record in academic research which related to physical chemistry
- Experience in design of experiments and data analysis
Skills:
- Enthusiasm to tackle technical problems and challenges
High commitment and willingness to learn
- Team player and ability to work in an achievement-oriented environment
- Structured work style as well as the ability to adapt quickly in diverse R&D themes
- Accountability and Reliability
- Experience in Project Management is a plus
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
