Join the Transaction Services’ SPA team and support the largest financial and strategic investors in carrying out their acquisitions or disposals.

The SPA Team

We work solely on deals - helping buyers and sellers to prepare better, close faster and realise profits sooner on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and financing transactions.

Our principal focuses as regards this position are in the areas of (i) pre-signing Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) advisory and (ii) post-signing / post-closing review of the completion accounts.

A career in our SPA practice provides the opportunity to help organisations realise the potential of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Our dedicated SPA team advises both clients at all stages of a transaction. Pre-deal, we advise in their agreement negotiations, identifying and articulating value issues related to pricing and deal closing mechanics. Post-deal, we assist in protecting or generating value through the execution of any closing mechanism. 

Our Clients - we support clients across a broad range of industries and on a wide range of transaction sizes:

major French public and private corporations;

· 
leading French and international financial buyers (Private Equity and Pension Funds); and

· 
inbound financial and strategic acquirers.

What you’ll bring to this role :

· 
Graduated from a business school, engineering school or university equivalent in finance

· 
2 to 3 years of significant experience in finance (audit, Corporate M&A, Private Equity, management control, investment banking, etc.)

· 
An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work

· 
A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard

· 
Level of English imperatively fluent, both written and spoken

· 
Proven technical and analytical capabilities including proven financial and business performance analysis skills;

· 
Strong communication, presentation and report writing skills;

· 
Proven engagement team management and leadership skills.

· 
Travel: The position requires flexibility and may require travel throughout France and internationally which can be up to 30% of your time.
