Job description

Puzzle London is a creative digital and social agency, working with a variety of big and
small clients, ranging from the fastest moving start-ups in the UK, to some of the biggest
leading companies – such as Waitrose and Wilko – and large charities and organisations,
like Cancer Research UK, and Canal & River Trust. Our focus is on creating fluid mobile and
web experiences, strategically-led social campaigns, and raising brand awareness through
multiple mediums.

We’re looking for a passionate and proactive creative to help craft clean and innovative
designs, from sketching out concepts, and coming up with new ideas, to designing apps,
websites, creating clickable prototypes, and developing social content. You will work on a
wide range of briefs and projects, from data visualisation on one day, to UI and UX design
the next, showing that you are flexible and able to adjust and work on multiple things. You
will work closely with our Creative team, collaborating on client work and internal projects.

You will be given opportunities to present your work to the team, and explain your
rationale behind your decisions, showcasing how you got to the finished product.

Our ideal candidate will have:

Experience working in Sketch, Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator
An artistic background
A passion for design, and love being up to date with the latest styles and visual trends
A good understanding of design principles and practices
The ability to meet short deadlines, but still create amazing work
A Dribbble, Behance, or online portfolio
And finally, you must have an obsession with making sure your pixels are perfect
Nice to haves include:
Being comfortable creating visuals for mobile and web
A passion for mobile gaming
Experience working on Apple software (iMac, MacBook, etc.)
An understanding of the importance of designing in vector
Knowing how to create content in a number of digital formats (image, video, gif animation,etc.)

In summary, we’re looking for someone who is fiercely ambitious, hungry, driven, has a
great attention to detail, and is incredibly proud of the work you deliver. You want to learn,
but you’ll also have your own ideas that you will put forward to the team.

This is a paid internship that has the opportunity to turn into a full-time role.
