SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Business Partner helps Re:Sources USA business groups achieve its business goals by enabling them to maximize employee productivity and engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Partner with both the department business groups and HR to assess and effectively address human resources needs in areas such as performance management, talent acquisition, compensation, and employee engagement
• Recruit for open Business Services positions in New York up to the manager level. Work with hiring managers to determine staffing levels and needs. Propose creative solutions to staffing. Assist with compensation issues including annual bonus and salary increase processes. Assist with market pricing as needed. Prepare compensation spreadsheets.
• Serve as HRIS expert for HR team.
• Prepare new hire packages
• Conduct new hire orientation
• Formulate partnerships across the organization to deliver value-added HR service to management and employees that help achieve the business objectives of the organization.
• Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
• Collaborate with HR Team and other internal corporate leaders on cross-functional HR projects (employee engagement projects, integration projects, etc).
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, appropriately reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Collaborate with legal department as needed/required.
• Provide HR Policy guidance and interpretation.
• Work closely with HR and business management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
• Manage and resolve employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations. Engage Legal when appropriate.
• Manage the termination process. Conduct exit interviews and handle off-boarding
• Execute employee engagement initiatives across Re:Sources

SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
The skills, education and experience qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
• College degree or relevant work experience
• 3 - 5 years of Human Resources generalist experience preferably with corporate functions
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
• Past success creatively and successfully acquiring talent. The ability to maintain a high level of business literacy about the business unit’s core function, financial position, mid-range plans, culture and competition.
• Experience in a creative industry a plus
• Must be someone who can build relationships, creatively problem solve and deliver results.
• Must have strong interpersonal, communication (oral and written) skills and be a team player with HR and business colleagues.
• Ability to be flexible and provide alternative solutions to issues in a changing environment.
• Ability to travel to other locations if required.
