Financial Analyst

Job description

This position is suitable for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, service-focused individual who will monitor, maintain, and complete client billing and reconciliations, as well as participate in reporting and account maintenance processes. The Financial Analyst position supports our billing group by partnering with Publicis Groupe agency contacts to ensure campaigns are invoiced according to proper procedures. The Financial Analyst will also be involved in process improvement projects and ad hoc reporting in support of business needs.

Responsibilities:

·  Facilitate monthly client invoice procedure in a timely and accurate manner
·  Compile and organize data for client invoicing
·  Review and confirm client pricing with agency contacts
·  Collect and manage campaign data reporting
·  Work with and follow up with agency contacts on billing discrepancies
·  Assist in month end close procedures and ad hoc reporting
·  Show judgment on when to elevate issues/requests and when to resolve independently
·  Suggest process improvements to benefit greater team
·  Initiative, responsibility, and follow through for “owned” work a must
·  Prioritize and streamline tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiencies

Minimum Requirements:

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
·  Professional experience in a Finance or Accounting position preferred, but open to entry-level candidates with educational or internship experience
·  Proficiency of MS Office, Word, Excel (including Pivot Tables) required
·  Understanding of basic billing concepts
·  Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with diverse groups agency-wide
·  Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask
·  Accountability and flexibility a must
·  Ability to work in a fast paced environment
·  Strong organization and communication skills
·  Positive team player attitude
