Summary: We have an excellent opportunity for an entry-level individual to join our Account Services team in the position of Assistant Account Executive (AAE). The individual will assist with the coordination, executive and communication of advertising activities for the Western Region and Cadillac Local Marketing Associations (LMAs). Responsibilities: • Following-through on details of activities with internal departments in Detroit, Birmingham, and New York such as account service, creative, legal, traffic and production, media planning, media buying and external events/sponsorship • Reconciling LMA invoice billing • Managing the compilation of LMA client presentations and distributions • Attending status meetings and producing status reports • Maintaining LMA contact information and mailings • Building and maintaining professional relationships with clients and coworkers • Assisting with special projects as needed Education: 4-year college degree in marketing, advertising, management or related field Experience: One to two years’ experience in account service is preferred, but not required. Training in print and/or broadcast production and media is ideal. Required Skills: Outstanding skills in organization, multi-tasking, and problem solving as well as in-depth working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
