Sustainability Project Manager Internship (m/f/x)

Job description

The sustainability intern is expected to gain significant experience in dealing with Operations and facilities departments, environmental regulators, and consultants by leading plant Sustainability Projects.

They will lead Sustainability Projects in the site, leading the preparation, execution, and startup of them.

They will support the sustainability team in providing Environmental awareness to the organization.

They will gain experience and understanding to ensure compliance by working with the Environmental contacts in the Administration in Spain.

They will also be trained in understanding the basics around energy, utilities and carbon and associated environmental management services across Spain and Europe.


Apply P&G project management standards to plan, execute and track progress on sustainability initiatives and projects related to main sustainability footprints (Energy, Waste, Water, Emissions)

Support Sustainability related community engagements events.

Support Sustainability leader in the tracking of energy & water monitoring.

Research, collect and analyze data on recycling and other sustainability initiatives inside and outside of the Company

Shadow multiple site departments members to gain understandings of individual roles in the department

Assist with projects, programs, or services to execute department objectives

Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems

Acquire an understanding of the business environment & compliance.

IT Skills:

University or bachelor's degree, preferably in a related field.

Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Knowledge of recycling programs, corporate or community sustainability initiatives preferred.
