Procter & Gamble is seeking a highly-motivated individual for a Sales Representative position with our P&G Professional Organization located in Pensacola, Florida! The sales territory covers the Florida Panhandle. P&G Professional is a leading manufacturer and marketer of away from home products and solutions. P&G Professional Sales Representatives sell cleaning products to building service contractors, hotels, health care facilities, restaurants, schools and work closely with our distributor partners. They sell jointly, alongside our distributor partners, to janitorial and food service customers, as well as sell independently in support of our distributors. P&G Professional Sales Representatives are part of a multi-functional Distributor Customer Team which includes experts in Finance, Logistics, Marketing, and Information Systems to provide the resources needed to develop a new and successful way of doing business. Sales Representatives sell to a variety of end-users in the “away from home” industry. The sales process begins with understanding our commercial customers’ (distributor or end-user) business, then utilizing available information (P&G and customers’) to explain the business building opportunities, and, finally persuading our customer to accept the recommendation for one or more specific courses of action. Sales Representatives are expected to develop expertise in areas such as product knowledge and technical support. This is a career sales position.


Qualifications

Requirements (skills / experiences) for the role:

We are looking for an individual who has demonstrated sales leadership results. We are seeking applicants who are problem solvers as well as excellent communicators. Previous experience in Janitorial, Sanitation, or Food Service distributor sales areas is a plus, but not required.

·  Develop productive working relationships with key customer contacts in a positive way
·  You will also improve our selling advantage by driving category growth
·  Valid driver’s license
·  Work will be done in these market territories: Florida Panhandle and surrounding areas.
·  Residence in the local market territory – Pensacola, Florida, must be familiar with the geography.
·  Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Preferred, but not required:
·  Spanish proficiency
·  Experience in a field-based sales position
·  Experience in the JanSan industry, hospitality, distribution, or cleaning
