P&G is one of Target's largest vendors and a key strategic partner for our business. The Target team expects strong performance in every role. We are looking for individuals ready to tackle a dynamic and high-velocity team on a tried and true business.

The P&G Target Team – Category Development Analyst is a non-management role that delivers administrative and technical support to drive superior recommendations for category Distribution, Pricing, Shelving, and Merchandising at Target stores as well as category-specific analytics and insights, enabling the P&G Team to meet or exceed Sales, Volume, Share and ROI objectives. A few of the important responsibilities include:

- Category review preparation

- Efficient Assortment recommendations

- Planogram creation, versioning, proofing, set up/tear down

- Delivering insights and recommendations for category DPSM (Display, Pricing/Promotion, Shelving, Merchandising) as well as from routine reports and ad hoc requests

- Clustering, segmentation, adjacency, and category test insight development and recommendations

- Expertise in key processes and training rest of organization in this area

- SPOC for Target contacts appropriate to defined area of expertise

Occasional overtime may be required.

Desired profile

Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED or equivalent education.

Candidates must have excellent problem solving skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and projects, good oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. Strong word processing and problem solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, thoroughness and follow-up, strong organizational skills; must be able to set priorities and work independently.

Requires individuals that can manage a demanding work load, and balance self-managed task/projects along with management support needs.
