We have an exciting role as a Process Technologist (Scientist) in our Oral Care Europe Materials, Process Development and Delivery organization within the UK. MPD (Materials, Process Development and Delivery) is a functional discipline within Research & Development which provides technical support to our European Oral Care business and manufacturing operations.  You will be working alongside members of the European MPD teams and with our manufacturing sites - providing technical support for existing P&G products and manufacturing.

You will develop in-depth understanding of R&D data systems for managing our products, as well as deep knowledge on the materials and manufacturing processes involved in Oral Care products made at our manufacturing sites. You will be trained on and acquire working knowledge of the quality and regulatory requirements that our products need to meet.

Your normal place of work will be the Reading Innovation Centre, UK.

Key responsibilities:

· 
Optimising and improving existing raw material supply chain design.

· 
Optimising and improving existing product making supply chain design.

· 
Design and execute technical studies at laboratory, pilot plant and manufacturing scale.

· 
Qualifying new manufacturing equipment at European manufacturing sites.

· 
Raise internal and external change controls to reflect proposed materials, and manufacturing process changes at manufacturing sites, following appropriate review and work-flow with business, technical and compliance functions.

· 
Working in multifunctional teams to support current in market product executions and manufacturing.

· 
Travel to Manufacturing sites across Europe will be required.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

· 
Education: Chemical Engineering, Material Science/ Engineering. (Preferred Master, BSc/BEng accepted)

· 
Professional experience: Previous experience in a FMCG or formulated chemistry consumer products industry an advantage but not essential.

· 
Languages: Proficiency in English.
