Starting with a broad vision of emergent technologies and a deep understanding of consumer issues, we use technologies such as devices, connectivity, machine learning, embedded systems, cloud computing, robotics, etc. to identify, synthesize, and prototype testable solutions in a fast-paced, hands-on, agile team environment.
Your work will include:
· Landscape existing literature and techniques in self-supervised and semi-supervised learning to develop a strategy to leverage large unlabeled dataset.
· Develop a functional pipeline to demonstrate improved modeling performance (e.g., classification) using existing unlabeled dataset.
· Share key insights from this process with broader team to enhance collective understanding of self-supervised and semi-supervised learning strategy.
Qualifications
Requirements (skills/experiences) for this role:
· Enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
· Proven research experience in Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
· Proficiency with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
· Proficiency with Python and machine learning/data science libraries such as scikit-learn and pandas.
· Proficiency with data wrangling, command-line environment, cloud computing environment, version control, and documentation.
· Experience in self-supervised learning, semi-supervised learning, time series data modeling, human activity recognition (HAR), natural language processing, and reinforcement learning is a plus.
· Experience in conducting independent and collaborative research projects.
· Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
· Effective communication skills

Pay Range: $55-$61 /hr
