We have full time opportunity for an Associate Researcher at the Latin America Innovation Centre, where leading brands such as Ariel®, Always®, Pantene®, and Pampers® are developed! We are looking for a passionate and innovative individual to work on the research and development of existing and new diapering products to play a key role in the innovation process for a laboratory based role but not limited. You will have the unique opportunity to apply your science, analytical, and troubleshooting skills in the E2E evaluation and qualification of new products that improve the lives and well-being of our consumers. You will achieve this through rigorous lab based experimentation and testing, combined with a deep understanding of consumer needs, and the full scale production process. Job responsibilities

• Working independently and with others:

• You will carry out laboratory and experimental order plant based work.

• You will perform established test procedures and produce reliable, reproducible results to meet day-to-day project needs.

• You will record and summarize experimental data.

• In your role you will communicate results and observations, making special note of unanticipated results and/or unexpected observations.

• You will conduct work at a high standard of quality and according to safe practices.

• You will develop sufficient computer skills to operate P&G systems, methods and equipment.

• After a limited period of on-the-job training you will work with minimum supervision.

Qualifications

Requirements (skills / experiences) for the role:

Qualifications

• You should have a real passion for laboratory based research and a desire to continuously learn.

• You will need strong laboratory skills and be able to understand and follow existing methods.

• We also look for skills such as innovation, initiative, communication, leadership and the ability to work with others Qualifications – external

• Complete Higher Education (Technologist) with preference in Process Operations, Mechanics and/or Materials Understanding.

• Additional qualifications may include a higher education diploma in a Scientific Discipline such as Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology. Attention: If you have a master or doctorate, you will be overqualified for this position.

• Intermediate or Advanced English

• Intermediate Knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Willingness to travel

• Preferred: Basic knowledge in Statistics (not required)

• Preferred: Prior experience with laboratory work and materials (not required)

• Preferred: Experience interacting with consumers (not required)
