Advanced Apprenticeship in Electrical and Electronic Engineering

Procter & Gamble is a world class highly successful global company in the manufacturing of leading brand name consumer products. Manufacturing is responsible for every aspect of Product Making and Packing, and is recognised as an industry leader for developing innovative production systems and technologies.

Here at our Manchester Plant, we are currently looking to recruit applicants for an Advanced Apprenticeship in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. Successful candidates will start the scheme in September 2017.

Apprentices will first complete their Electrical & Electronic Engineering based NVQ Level 2, followed by the NVQ Level 3 equivalent based in the workplace, in conjunction with spending periods of time in various departments around the plant. The academic courses followed will lead to an Advanced Apprenticeship in Electrical & Electronic engineering.

All apprentices will be classed as permanent employees with the expectation that they may be offered full time employment with P&G provided that they have maintained their expected progress through the Apprenticeship and demonstrated a positive approach.

Desired profile

We are looking for individuals who:
·  Have attained a minimum of 5 GCSEs grade C or above which must include English, Maths and Science
·  Have a high level of personal accountability and willingness to learn
·  Are team players with good verbal and written communication skills
·  Want a challenging career and not just a job
