Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the successful applicant will fault find and carry out repairs or maintenance on broadcast equipment. Duties include:
Assessing kit on arrival and prioritising workload, assessing if we have the resources to make the repair.
Carry out repairs on internal equipment and make sure kit is in good working order.
Keep equipment notes updated when parts have been replaced and if major repairs have been made so that we have an up to date record.
Carry out maintenance of Procam equipment as and when required.
Managing safety and time constraints.
Clean/ empty the warehouse air compressors once a week.
Make cables from scratch as required.
Organisation and tidiness of the departments’ workspace.
Communicate with the service team about repairs to be carried out.
Assist in training where applicable (service and maintenance).
General Service admin.
Adhering to company Health and Safety procedures and working in a safe manner.
This role would suit someone from a mechanical or engineering background with the ability to work independently.
Someone who has exceptional attention to details and takes ownership, once settled, of the role.
Excellent written English & communication skills are a must.
