PWO Properties is a property investments and Developments company.

We are looking for an all round and innovative Developer to develop our Online presence + Applications for our Safari, property investment business magazine and a property investment & development businesses that is currently expanding its operations to Asia and the Far east. It will be easier for someone with some knowledge of the property or financial investments market, though we will be happy to provide training along that line.

We have a range of other business propositions that we would like the candidate to help with as well.

Key Responsibilities

Web development with strong interest in applying latest developments in systems development.
Assist and perform analysis including creation of user stories, breaking down of user stories into tasks, writing acceptance criteria, and creating appropriate UML diagrams/process diagrams where possible.
Research into existing systems that may help guide the solution to be built.
Have the capability and mind-set to build the solution from the ground up.
Cover all aspects of development, from front end web development, to creation of services, and the relevant database storage of the data.

Knowledge & Experience – Technical Skills

Essential

Solid programming proficiency in an object orientated language (example, Java or C#)
Advanced Web technologies - HTML5 and CSS3
Hands on JavaScript skills (ecma5 + jQuery + Ajax)
Knowledge of the agile working process (Test/Behavioural Driven Development, Kanban)
Database knowledge (general SQL knowledge, i.e. creation, querying, joins, etc.)
Fluent in English in written and verbal communication

Desirable

Knowledge of JavaScript MVC/MVVM framework (AngularJS/KnockoutJS)
Knowledge of Server side MVC frameworks (example C# MVC 5)
LESS/SASS CSS pre-compilers
Creation of services in Web API/JSON
Experience with code repositories (preferably Git)
Knowledge & Experience – Soft Skills
Ability to work independently
Willing to think outside the box, creating spikes and being able to justify your thinking
