Role: Paid Media Officer

Location: Dublin

Role Type: Permanent

Reports to : Digital Marketing Manager

Purpose of role :The Paid Social Media officer is responsible for the design and execution of paid media strategies on social networks. We are looking for somebody who is analytical and uses problem solving capabilities to assure flawless program execution to meet and exceed stated objectives.

This role will work directly with the Digital Marketing Manager in the creation, execution and strategic management of our paid digital media activity across all channels including Facebook, Instagram, Google networks etc. You will be responsible for the management of our key stakeholder and agency relationships, while driving forward our targeted content propositions.

Key Responsibilities:
·  Create and implement the paid media strategy for Primark global, taking into consideration current trends and industry best practice to innovate and meet business objectives
·  Perform day-to-day activities, including campaign builds, copy writing, content creation, performance monitoring, bid management, budget pacing, forecasting, A/B testing and more
·  Use platforms and dashboards to report and analyse on the effectiveness of all paid for digital campaigns.Working with analytics, metrics and dashboards, distributing this information via regular reporting to all key stakeholders on a regular basis. In depth knowledge of Facebook Business Manager and insights is a must, knowledge of Sprinkler Analytics would be an advantage
·  Attend key briefing sessions on behalf of the digital marketing manager and work with the immediate and wider teams on campaigns, from conception to implementation, briefing the creative team on relevant assets needed for our paid activity
·  Identifying trends & opportunities from analysing data gathered from campaign & activities
·  Assisting the implementation of other digital marketing activity as required, including CRM management, content coordination and location marketing
·  Manage channel Partners to support paid marketing campaigns and activities Facebook, Pinterest, Google and Media Agencies
·  Managing the development, mentoring and developing other team members and future team members
·  Manage the paid media budget, ensure spend is accounted for and accurately forecasted, processed and reported. Work closely with the finance business partner to understand and report on ROI for digital spend.
·  Research new developments and trends in paid for digital marketing (Policies, Insights and restrictions) communicate your findings to the team and develop ideas based on your findings
·  Innovate and bring new campaign and tactical execution ideas and opportunities to the team Knowledge, skills experience:

·  3-4 years' experience minimum, in paid media marketing
·  Proactive self-starter, problem-solver, & hyper analytical
·  A comprehensive understanding and experience using tools of the trade: Facebook business manager, Instagram insights, YouTube Analytics, Pinterest ads manager and analytics, Google Analytics, Olapic, Adobe Suite, Photoshop, Sprinklr as well as a keen interest in emerging platforms.
·  Proven track record launching and implementing successful paid for campaigns
·  Previous experience managing junior members of a team
·  Commercially focused and driven with the ability to work to deadlines and in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders
·  Strong numerical and quantitative analysis skills
·  Strong understanding of analytical tools, Google Analytics etc.
·  Excellent project management skills
·  Self-motivated, ability to work of own initiative and in a team environment
·  Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
·  Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks
·  A flexible, approachable attitude with good problem-solving skills
·  The ability to work efficiently under pressure onmultiple projects in a fast-paced environment
·  Excellent verbal communication and copywriting skills and the ability to relay information to key stakeholders
·  Travel Required
