Oracle Trainer – Buying & Merchandising – Fixed Term Contract

Purpose of role
To deliver a high-quality training experience to Primark end users for all Project Oracle training. The Trainer will assist the design and delivery of training

Key Responsibilities
·  To deliver a high-quality training experience to Primark end users
·  To design, develop and implement creative, appropriate and effective training materials following in-house frameworks
·  To be responsible for delivery of the training cycle from conception through to development, delivery and evaluation
·  Support in developing and managing the training development and delivery plan
·  Work closely with the Business Change Lead, Business Process Change Managers, L&D teams, Business Systems Teams to develop the end-user training materials required for the various programme releases
·  To deliver the training courses and ensure that all assigned training modules are delivered to agreed quality, timescales and budget
·  To evaluate training effectiveness on a regular basis and ensure that all changes required are made to the training material and/or delivery mode
·  To work with Project Oracle Training Manager, Business stream Leads and Primark L&D to ensure that content and materials being produced adhere to business standards and templates  
Knowledge, education, skills and experience
·  Educated to degree level or equivalent
·  Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role/related field [a background in Buying/Merchandising would be advantageous]
·  Training experience is desirable although not essential
·  A good understanding of the core business processes within an international fashion retailer.
·  Ideally has been through a significant systems & process change programme which has had impact on the wider business with significant software, technology, process and change management aspects. Experience within an Oracle change programme advantageous
·  Experience in the development and/or delivery of training to End Users
·  Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques
·  Experience in delivering complex information to a variety of audiences
·  Confident presentation skills and excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to engage with business stakeholders
