As a Department Manager with us, you’ll be a vital part of our Retail Management team, shaping the way we work in Poznan and leading a team of ambitious Supervisors and Retail Assistants. It’s an amazing opportunity. And a chance to influence how people across the country see Primark.

What you’ll be doing
Primark has a huge variety of departments in-store. From homeware to accessories, kids wear to beauty - whichever department you manage, you’ll be responsible for its success. Whether you’re motivating employees or managing stock levels, your commercial awareness and positivity will be crucial to ensuring that customers are happy, and that sales performance is high. This is a hands-on role that will see you looking after every aspect of the day-to-day running - from budgets and training your Supervisors to operational and safety issues. Given Primark’s scale, view it as running your own store within a store!

What you’ll need
Enthusiastic and energetic, you will need to have least three years’ management experience in a retail environment. Ideally, this will have been in fashion retail. What’s certain is that you’ll know how to communicate, how to lead and inspire others, and how to keep customers satisfied. You should be excellence-driven and definitely not afraid of sales targets. In fact, you’ll love the challenge of meeting and exceeding them.
