The Data Governance & Reporting Analyst role covers the setup and maintenance of the BMD Master Data required for the Oracle Retail Management System. In advance of the go-live of this new application, the role requires input into data migration, SIT & UAT testing and cutover rehearsals. 

The successful candidate will grow to understand how the different master data elements need to be set up and maintained in order to ensure the smooth running of this key business system. This role will be part of a team that manages all Oracle Master Data in the Central Merchandising Department.
 
Roles & Responsibilities


·  Responsible for the setup and maintenance of Oracle Retail master data
·  Working with internal departments including Finance, Buying, Merchandising & Design, ICT, Sourcing, Ethical Trade, Supply Chain and Procurement to maximise processing efficiency and manage compliance
·  Work with our 3rd party providers to ensure relevant daily operational interfaces are working as scheduled and all transactions are processed in accordance with our policies and procedures
·  Deliver a high level of customer service to our vendors and business partners
·  Establish and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
·  Create, validate and maintain business process procedures
·  Be aware of and adhere to relevant period end processing and reporting schedules
·  Engage in continuous process quality improvement and enhanced customer service in line with targets and metrics.
·  Participation in projects, testing of new functionality on IT systems, validation of master data, period end processing and reporting and other ad hoc duties as the business requires.
·  Review and participate in System Testing and System Integration Testing
·  Review and participate in User Acceptance Testing
·  Participation in data migration and cutover rehearsals
·  Participate in Training and provide input where appropriate
