Quality Engineer VIE :
MISSIONS :
Responsible for assisting the implementation and maintenance of effective systems ensuring Quality Standards meet or exceed customer requirements
Provide a Quality support to the Quality Department in agreement with the internal process and procedures
Ensure the limitation of risk within projects
Maintain and upgrade, under the responsibility of the Plant Quality manager, the Quality Systems of Eisenach plant to be compliant with ISO/TS 16 949
TASKS :
- Interfaces with the customers (Customer Representative) and suppliers on quality problems and quality improvement activities using structured corrective and preventive action methods
- Compiles and administers customer and supplier PPAP documentation
- Interfaces with the customer concerning all aspects of APQP (INPro) including PPAP preparation and submittal.
- Implements and/or analyzes quality metrics (Customer, Key indicators, …) and initiates action plans when the metrics do not meet the objectives.
- Facilitate Corrective Action Activities (8 D, for example)
- Assist in lead continuous improvement projects
- Assist in communicating Corrective Action Reports to internal and external customers
- Assist in developing and supporting effective procedures and work/test instructions per the TS 16949 standard and global quality manual and monitors compliance
- Promotes Quality concepts within the plant, division, and community
PROFILE :
Mechanical Engineer with quality orientated background or experience
Knowledge of Quality tools & methodologies (DFMEAS, risk analysis, 8D, ...)
Fluent in English and good level in German.
