Job description:
Within our plant in Pune and together with our Engineering center, you will:
- Design and draw technical solutions (sketches, sections, partial models, global models, overall dimensions, tooling/assembly kinematics)
- Generate CAD files in accordance with POAE CAD methodology and CAD specifications of both customer and POAE
- Verify CAD file quality by utilizing specific customer file checkers used by customer tools to check CAD file quality
- Name CAD files in TDM in accordance with the rules defined by our division
- Update part attributes in PDM (volume, theoretical weight, projected area, painted area)
- Update models based on technical feasibility studies
- Use the PO Design Standard library (TESIS) during the design and construction of CAD models, and provide feedback to EPM and Design leader
- Perform various checks on his 3D models to ensure good quality of the final product (interferences by DMU checks, A-surface analysis of visible pads…)
Profile:
You are a highly motivated young graduate from a recognized engineering or business school, with an interest for the automotive industry.
As part of your studies, you have already undertaken an international curriculum (e.g. one semester or year outside your home country).
You are familiar with the software CATIA.
You are a team player, a self-learner and have demonstrated some leadership. You have an interest for the automotive industry and a first experience or internship in this sector can be a plus.
You are open minded and with a serious desire to learn, as well as a clear willingness to embark on an international career.
Your English is fluent and a second language is a plus.
