Job Scope
To audit UK produced tyres, control market returns and audit the warehouse conditions at our National Distribution Centre. Produce reports and investigate data trends in line with objectives of the Quality Function.
Duties and Responsibilities:
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join a small but busy team within the Quality function. Key duties include:
· Manage the return tyre process through the NDC
· Product audits (visual and uniformity)
· Warehouse audits
· Manage bond stock
· Checks on imported tyres as required by local and sector quality
· Produce monthly reports based on the audits
· Liaising with key stakeholders regarding data analysis
This is a technical role where strong IT skills are required. In addition, this role will involve regular liaison and communication with a variety of stakeholders including customers, so the successful candidate must be confident in establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels.
Education and Professional Background:
· A Levels or Equivilent Qualifications
Experience:
· Previous experience in a Quality Assurance role is desirable but not essential
Professional and Personal Aptitudes:
· Be able to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders
· Flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to change
· Able to demonstrate analytical skills (understanding and interpreting information)
· Be self-motivated, have an ability to prioritise and organise workload, ensuring deadlines are achieved
· The use of IT isintegral to the role, therefore good IT knowledge and skills, particularly SAP, PowerPoint and Excel
