Supply Chain and Operations Planner - Philips Home Monitoring Business

Your Challenge:

·  Balancing supplies and demand for Home Monitoring Business for North America and International markets to ensure that finished products are available in Distribution  Centers at the time the customer orders and that integral inventory levels are in line with business objectives
·  Coordinate demand and supply on BG level in such a way that World-wide availability of products is optimized.
·  Intervene and escalate  in case of deviations of predefined border values of stock levels.

 Responsibilities

·  Manage the weekly and daily supply-demand planning process of all assigned product groups in order to prepare in-time for capacity creation/reduction and the procurement of long-lead-time components.
·  Monitor and report on daily actuals versus plan and escalate in case of deviations.
·  Manage the integral inventory levels for the assigned product groups over the supply chain with objective to realize the customer service objectives and inventory targets..
·  Manage phasing in / phasing out of assigned product-types according to the Phase in/Phase out process  in close cooperation with product/marketing management and the industrial project team. The aim is to introduce new products in-time and phase-out products without obsolete finished products and components.
·  Manage relationship with Marketing, sales, regions, suppliers, factories and other stakeholders.
·  Ensure that Customer Service and inventories are on the agreed levels.
·  Provide business and other stakeholders with required reports, either from SAP and/or Excel
·  Ensure SAP system is always up to date with latest planning parameters, demand forecast etc
·  Manage ‘non SAP’ related planning in Excel
·  Support the S&OP manager in the monthly S&OP process
·  Support other team members in day to day activities where required
·  Participate in structural improvement programs

We are looking for

The successful candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills education and experience:

·  3 -5 yrs business experience in demand  /supply management or SCM operations , preferably in consumer goods industry.
·  Supply Chain education/certifications such as APICS/CPIM
·  Leadership skills, able to operate in dynamic environment with high interaction levels
·  Strong communication skills in international matrix setting, fluent in English
·    Persuasive, analytical, hands on mentality, authority, stress resistant
·    Adaptability to talk/manage different levels of audiences.
·    Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and SAP knowledge
