In this role, you have the opportunity to work in a team, assisting the manufacturing process of mother and childcare products within our factory in Glemsford, Suffolk.

You are responsible for;

·  Health & Safety – The ability to work in a responsible manner to ensure the safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues. Complying with risk assessments and company safety practices.
·  Quality Standards - Good knowledge of process and product quality standards and documentation. Ability to consistently follow Standard operating procedures.
·  Machine Operating - Competent in the skills required to operate various equipment/machinery in the manufacturing area and willing to build knowledge of new equipment and to be active in fault finding and first line maintenance activities, Liaising with Engineers on shift and the Project team. Ability to achieve targeted machine or process outputs, whilst maintaining quality standards. Good understanding and use of fault reporting to minimise waste and downtime.
·  Documentation – Ability to understand and complete required production documentation and follow instructions.

This role is working Monday to Friday, on a 3 week rotating shift pattern;

6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm or 10pm to 6am.

You are a part of a large team, reporting into the Value Stream Team Leader

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience;

·  A good standard of numeracy, and written & spoken English, demonstrated by the ability to follow instructions and complete Safety and Quality documentation to a good standard.
·  The ability to learn new skills and work on a variety of different tasks depending on the current business need.
·  Have a positive, ‘can-do' attitude
·  Ability to work as part of a team, able and willing to cover for other team members
·  Ability to work on your own initiative taking individual task responsibility
