Your Responsibilities

In this role as Magnet Design Engineer , you will focus primarily on application of electromagnetic design principles to the development and maintenance of superconducting MRI magnet products and technologies.  Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

·  Design of primary magnetic field producing coils.
·  Design of passive magnetic field shim systems for superconducting magnets
·  Development of computer codes to calculate passive shim system parameters for real magnets and environments.
·  Detailed design, analysis, and testing of magnet components.
·  Technical risk analysis.
·  Documenting design inputs and outputs.
·  Reviewing and ensuring adequacy of vendor qualification activities.
·  Participating in multidisciplinary project teams through all phases of product development to ensure successful execution of innovative and best-in-class designs.
