We are seeking a part time (20 hours/week) Learning and Development Administrator to join our central training team which is based at our Support Office in Handforth, Cheshire.

We are ideally looking for the hours to be worked over 5 days, Mon-Fri however we may be flexible around this. The role will involve occasional travel to our distribution centres in Stoke and Northampton where we have training facilities.
Training plays a key part in achieving our excellent results, in keeping our colleagues focussed and engaged in delivering outstanding service and advice to our customers.

• Issuing training materials and controlling the printing and ordering of training resources.
• Booking internal and external courses and arranging travel and accommodation for delegates.
• Arranging certification, reward and recognition for internal and external courses.
• Participating in training initiatives when required.

• You will have previous experience of working in a busy administrative role, providing support to a multi-site workforce. It would be advantageous for this experience to have been gained within a retail business however this is not essential.
• You'll be a great communicator both face to face and on the telephone and this will enable you to offer advice to colleagues regarding their training responsibilities and be able to recommend the right resource to help them achieve their objectives.

• You will be organised in your approach, having the ability to multi-task and manage a busy workload.
• You will have an interest in the pet business and of the content of the materials which you will be working with, as well as being happy to go out to stores and learn about everything that we do!

• 28 days holiday (including Bank holidays) rising to 33 days after 2 years' service
