- Strategic Planning Assistant
Irish Distillers is the global leader in Irish Whiskey with a comprehensive portfolio of brands including Jameson, Powers, Redbreast, Spot Range & Midleton Very Rare. This role is based at Irish Distillers Head Office in Dublin, Ireland.
The role sits within the Global Innovation, Strategy and Insights Team and reports to the Head of Strategy. The primary focus of this role is to provide support to the Head of Strategy and lead some key deliverables in terms of Strategic Planning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provision of support to the Head of Strategy to include the following:
- Provide support to ensure the effective implementation of the Irish Distillers Planning Cycle to include Strategic Market Reviews; 3 year plan presentations; Pre-Budget Market Meetings; Les Embiez Market Briefings and Annual Budget presentation.
- Provide support for Strategic Planning projects e.g. Value Creation; Jameson Vision Project; Market Classification; Travel Retail Project; Portfolio Strategy.
2. Act as the key point of contact for Pernod Ricard Holding Initiatives e.g. Stratview, Nielsen GT2.
3. Provide data analysis support for the Global Innovation, Strategy and Insights Team and to the wider International Marketing team in the preparation of ad hoc presentations as required.
Required profile:
Education:
- Master’s degree level (equivalent Bac+5) from a Business School or equivalent business faculty of a University.
Professional Experience:
- Internship in International FMCG / Consulting firms preferred
Languages and other competencies:
- Fluency in English mandatory
- Rigor, accuracy, attention to detail
- Strong communicator
- Quick to adapt to new requirements, situations.
- Self motivated
- Team spirit
- Ethical qualities and respect of confidentiality
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
