Lead Engineer- SAP BW/ Enterprise HANA Developer

Overview

PepsiCo Global Template ( PGT ) BW/Enterprise HANA developer will be responsible for solution dvelopment and governance of the BW /e-HANA components. Interacting with Business, Functional consultants and other teams for integration will be one of the prime duties.

The role is support functions fit to standard PepsiCo Global Template eHANA components and minimize the customization.

This role will adopt and adhere to agile principles for the Global Template project. This role will also support development of reports, dashboards, HANA and BW data models as and when needed.

Responsibilities

Own development and delivery of BW/HANA components, Calculation views, datamodels, aggregation levels, ADSOs within the scope of PepsiCo Global Template for Trade Promotions Management
• Partner with business end users, solution functional leads and business experts to identify standard to fit in Global Template
• Partner with business and functional teams for the demo of TPM solution to business during sprint sessions
• Partner with Business and functional teams to identify the gaps and support the CR process
• Participate in key Sprint planning, retrospectives and other key ceremonies
• Development of Reports, dashboards according to PGT Business requirements

Qualifications

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

• 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in BW or HANA Development
• Deep knowledge deployment of HANA models. Experience working with HANA XSA or WEB iDE is big plus
• ERP project deployment experience
• ABAP or SQL development skills will be preferred

MANDATORY TECHNICAL SKILLS

SAP BW modeling and development
ABAP development
Enterprise HANA Modelling
Experience in SAC ( SAP Analytics Cloud ), Fiori, BOBJ or any frontend tool is a plus

MANDATORY NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Ability to work flexible hours to adhere to the sprint schedule
• Strong influencing, facilitating, and consulting skills in working with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across departments
• Ability to quickly adapt to changes in timelines and sequences
• Adaptability and flexibility including ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change
• Consulting background a plus

DIFFERENTIATING COMPETENCIES

• Strong development skills
• Ability to work with virtual teams (remote work locations); lead team of technical resources (employees and contractors) based in multiple global locations
• Lead technical discussions, driving clarity of complex issues/requirements to build robust solutions
• Strong communication skills to meet with delivery teams and business-facing teams, understand sometimes ambiguous, needs, and translate to clear, aligned requirements
