Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a digital marketing internship position within Horizon Festival HQ.

2017 is Horizon Festival’s fifth year of operating and first year in its new location of Andorra. The music and ski festival has some of the leading names in underground music performing over 7 days and a whole host of immersive activities and parties. The festival is constantly growing and we need people on board who are committed to its success and self motivated by their involvement in the festival.

We are looking for a creative and productive individual who is eager to develop their skill set whilst working within a dynamic and fast paced team.

The key focus of this role is to:

Work on and develop Horizon's social media channels including Facebook, Soundcloud and Instagram. This will involve actively spotting new trends within social media and how best Horizon can utilise these.

Look after Horizon Festival's website including creating interactive content. Experience with photoshop extremely desirable. Creative writing skills are also plus as the role involves writing pieces for Horizon's blog.

Create and send out newsletters on a regular basis, an eye for design here is key.

Liaise with artists and festival partners to produce exclusive content such as interviews, mixes, etc

Knowledge / Skills / Traits:
Experience within digital marketing
Passion for music events
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Trustworthy character
Fun and sociable
Eager to learn
Confident with Adobe Photoshop & HTML

NB:
You will need your own laptop for use in the office.
We are situated in Brixton, the position is for 2 days per week however these 2 days are flexible.
This position operates as a 6 month internship. There is the possibility to further your experience by working from the festival in Andorra in March.
