This role can be based in either Bratislava, France or the UK

Key Responsibilities

·  Representing 2nd level presales team in its contribution to the overall presales process and organization put in place to win the bid.
·  Validating the solution, coordinating actions internally and externally to ensure all the solution components are implementable and operable from an engineering, delivery, operations, IT and process standpoint.
·  Participating in customer meetings to present and defend the solution from a technical and operational standpoint in support of and as requested by the bid team.
·  Conveying the company technical strategy along the bid process, engaging with marketing teams when appropriate to review strategy and solution positioning.
·  May be involved in both customer specific development as well as more general product development activities.

about you

Strong knowledge and experience on Networking, and Network related Security topics:

Good overview of well-recognized vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, HP/Aruba, Fortinet, Riverbed, and hands-on experience on at least one of those Vendors (Cisco mandatory)

Fundamental knowledge on SD-WAN / NFV/ SDN :Understanding of SD-WAN technology concepts and principles

Experience with OSS/BSS and Orchestration, Controllers & NFVs, virtualisation technologies (VM Ware, KVM, …)

Solid understanding of networking concepts and standards in SDN , Routing/Switching/Ntw.security/Ntw.mgmt.&monitoring :

 

LAN, WLAN, L2 VPN (VPLS/VPWS) : VLAN, STP, MST, VTP, APs & WLCs mechanisms, 802.1X, etc…

WAN : IP, SD-WAN, MPLS VPN, Internet, routing (BGP, ISIS, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VRF, VPN, IPSec/GRE, ..), CoS/QoS, access technologies, etc…

Network based Security : Encryption (IPSEC), appliance based (Fortinet, Bluecoat) or cloud based (Zscaler) security

 

Experience of Monitoring & management tools is a plus

Expertise in following areas will be a plus :

Experience with Programming/Scripting languages (python, Node.js)

Orchestration frameworks (Ansible)

Datacenter/Campus SDLAN Fabricks is a plus

WAN Optimization / WAN Acceleration technologies

Application Visibility / Application Performance Monitoring technologies

Experience and Education

10 to 15 years in Telco/ICT industry, particularly experienced in design and architecture of telecommunications solutions. Sales support experience is a plus. Management experience will be a plus.

Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer science or equivalent

Recognized industry certification in related topics (i.e. Cisco Design (CCNA/CCDA to CCIE), Juniper, Huawei, etc.)

English or French fluent (spoken, written) Both would be a plus

base salary from 1,700 € brutto per month, actual salary is likely to be higher based on skills, knowledge and experience
