about the role
Within Orange International Network and Infrastructure Services, Wholesale & France Enterprise Operations is in charge of the technical management for International Transmission & Voice as well as for Open Transit Internet networks.
Part of WFEO department, IP Provisioning & Maintenance team is in charge of:
customer provisioning
network change management
level 2 for incident management
We provide the following services to other telco companies: IP transit, Signaling services, multicast, IPV6, L2VPN and L3VPN, CDN …).
We currently operate ~80 POPs and 300+ equipment and plan to extend our footprint to 150. We are committed to endure the highest level of network availability through an efficient troubleshooting and diagnosis of backbone network incidents and effective co-ordination with internal and external partners in order to meet and exceed our customer’s expectations and in line with our defined objectives.
According to our Zero Impact golden rules & Methods of Operations, you will be in charge of :
Implementing new IP services projects within Open Transit Internet and IP Multiservices Network
Validating these services with our customers
Processing backbone operations (links migrations, software upgrades)
Troubleshooting as per proactive/reactive incidents detection and taking the needful actions (activating other teams/vendors…)
Team is located in Paris (FR), Bratislava (SK) and expands his footprint to New Dehli (IN).
about you
Excellent knowledge of communication standards and OSI/commercial protocols as follows: MPLS, IP, PPP/IP Dial, IS-IS, RIP, OSPF, BGP4, M-BGP,L2VPN / VPLS, Multicast
Expert level of knowledge and hands on troubleshooting experience on one or more than one of the following technologies:
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Good understanding of Telecom Service providers Networks and Services
Ability to work in virtual, multicultural multisite environment
Education, qualifications, and certifications : Degree in Computer Science, IP Networking.

Minimum of 3-4 years technical support experience in any telecom platform / environment within the telecom or IT industry preferably in telecom service provider backbone network
International exposure and work in transversal mode
Project management experience.
