Company/context:
Our Cairo business unit is one of the biggest service centers of Orange Business Services.
The development of Ethernet access, the emergence of virtualization solutions, the increasing dependence upon our telco or Datacenter partners, and the complexity of customers’ expectations (Very High Broadband, move towards the cloud, automation, etc.) have a major impact on the topology of our networks and how we deploy them. In this context, the entity building the Orange Business Services international networks (Global Enterprise Networks) is in the middle of a big transformation. Our objective is to ensure the operational and financial excellence of the networks while preparing the future, for example with the introduction of new technologies such as SDN-NFV or with more agile ways of working to answer customers’ needs for quicker delivery and more automated solutions.
Within the Global Enterprise Networks organization, the Network and Service Implementation team is responsible for the network implementation across Middle East and Africa.
Main tasks:
The assignee has financial and timelines objectives. Can do attitude, quality orientation and cost awareness are consequently key for this role.
- Initiate, plan and execute projects related to the international Orange Networks.
- Provide high quality project management for network optimization projects which lead to significant financial savings or technological advantages to Orange Business Services. Coordinate activities with Sourcing, CS&O, Sales, Finance, Sourcing and all other stakeholders to accomplish network infrastructure projects within budget and agreed deadlines.
- Control procurements, logistics, deliveries, regulatory and customs aspects with the concerned entities.
- Submit Network Change request as per defined Network Change Management process.
- Utilize and have proficiency with Network and Customer IT tools to ensure data integrity of the infrastructure throughout the region.
- Provide detailed operational and financial results of the project including financial savings.
- Create and distribute regular reports to management and partners to guarantee tight alignment of all stakeholders.
Profile:
- Knowledge of telco networks
- Transversal management capabilities
- Leadership
- Good communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in Arabic is a plus
- Mastery of Excel / Pivot Table, Powerpoint, Outlook
